Actress Kisses Delavin and “Asia’s Next Top Model” first Filipina winner Maureen Wroblewitz have been confirmed as candidates in the official 100 delegates of 2021’ Universe Philippines (MUP), the Pageant announced on Facebook.
Earlier, Kisses and Maureen’s MUP teasers — inspired by Bea Alonzo’s one-eye teaser for her GMA-7 move – had trended on social media.
Maureen had earlier told media that lack of preparation time was the reason for her being unsure in joining the Pageant.

2016 witnessed Masbate-born Kisses being crowned Miss Masbate and Miss Kaogma, while entering the reality TV show “Pinoy Big Brother,” besides earlier in 2013 being hailed Miss Teen Masbate, and also awarded Miss Teen Campus and Miss Alma Mater.
“My first pageant was at age three, and in the future, I will just let life surprise me,” Kisses told media while adding that she would join national pageants like Miss Universe Philippines after finishing her studies.

Kisses and Maureen join 97 other delegates including models, entrepreneurs and pageant veterans in competing for the title of Miss Universe Philippines 2021 title on September 25 at a yet-to-be-announced venue.
“Inspire You” would be the theme for the Pageant’s 2021 edition, according to MUP National Director, Shamcey Supsup Lee. (AW)
