The “Shape of You” singer had earlier given fans an early Christmas, 2020 gift with the release of “Afterglow,”– a song written by him in 2019. Sheeran had released the music video for his song “Put It All on Me” featuring Ella Mai in 2019, which featured love stories of different couples, including Ed and his wife, Cherry Seaborn.
“Put It All on Me” was from his “No. 6 Collaborations Project,” in which he had worked alongside other artists like Justin Bieber, Camila Cabello, Khalid, Chance The Rapper, Cardi B, and Eminem.
December 2019 had also witnessed Sheeran announced taking another break again after being “a bit nonstop” since 2017 — the year he released his third studio album, “Divide.” (AW)
