Basketball player James Yap has posted a short but sweet message to his son, Bimby Aquino-Yap, on the latter’s 14th birthday.
“Happy 14th Birthday, Bimb. I love you no matter what! Wishing you all the best that life can offer. God bless you,” James wrote.
Bimby is James’ son with TV host Kris Aquino. The former couple were married in 2005 but separated five years later. Their marriage was annulled in 2012.
Yap also has two children with his Italian girlfriend Michaela Cazzola.
Bimby has been the subject of online ridicule and was repeatedly defended by Aquino. She admitted that she was partly to blame on the bashing of her sons on social media.
Earlier, Kris said that she will start limiting their appearances on her online accounts, adding that she wants to do this to give her children, Josh and Bimby, “enough privacy”.
