One of the respondents surrounding the death of flight attendant Christine Dacera said she particularly took an interest in a man in Room 2207.

Valentine Rosales, one of the men implicated in the case, revealed to talk show host Boy Abunda that he remembered Christine saying it to him.

Rosales was asked by Abunda as to why Tin, as her friends call her, kept coming back to room 2207.

Clips from the CCTV footage showed the flight attendant frequently coming in and out of rooms 2207 and 2209. Her flight attendant friends were checked in at room 2209 as their way of celebrating the New Year 2021.

“I remember Tin saying that there was someone handsome there… I didn’t know if he was straight. I assumed that he is gay because everyone was gay,” he told Abunda.

“Tin told me that he was a basketball player,” he added.

Rosales’ recent statement contradicts his earlier claims that he didn’t see any straight guys in that room.

During the interview, he also took back at what he said that those in the other room were “chaka” (ugly).

On Wednesday, Jan. 13, a basketball player was among those who showed up at the office of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) as he was identified as among the visitors of room 2207.

He was later on identified as Justin Rieta, a basketball player who frequently plays for recreational leagues.

Rieta, in an interview with GMA News, said he didn’t see anything wrong with Christine that night.

He also expressed willingness to cooperate with the ongoing investigation.

Rosales along with Clark Rapinan, Rommel Galido, Jigo De Guzman and John Pascual Dela Serna faced Abunda in an interview aired live on The Boy Abunda Talk Channel on YouTube last January 13, 2021.

They were accompanied by their lawyer as they took turns in narrating the circumstances during the New Year’s Eve party they organized and what happened after.

They all claimed that they only knew Edward Madrid, their friend that was in room 2207, and gate crashed their celebration.

Madrid was there since he had a fling with one of the men in room 2207 that they identified as DJ.

The group said DJ and his circle of friends were in that room, including the basketball player. (ES)
