Singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran broke almost a year of social media hiatus to reveal that he and his wife had a daughter during the last week of August.
“With the help of an amazing delivery team, Cherry gave birth to our beautiful and healthy daughter – Lyra Antarctica Seaborn Sheeran,” said Sheeran.
Sheeran, whose last social media post dates back in December 2019, said that both his wife and newborn daughter are healthy and are both ecstatic about their daughter’s birth. He also asked for privacy during this time.
“Both mum and baby are doing amazing and we are on cloud nine over here. We hope that you can respect our privacy at this time,” said Sheeran.
Earlier, the singer-songwriter took a long hiatus since he has been on tour and shows nonstop since 2017.
