The good, the bad, the ugly: Julia opens up about her roller coaster 2019

Julia Barretto has admitted on her second her vlog that 2019 has been challenging to her.

She was involved in recent months on the controversy hounding Bea Alonzo and Gerald Anderson.

Although the young actress repeatedly denied that she has nothing to do with the controversial break up, netizens continue to bash her and link her to Anderson.

“Suddenly, everything people had to say about me, everything they thought about me, everything they are accusing me for or they assume about me, it just all vanished,” she said.

Julia recalled how her family became her strong foundation during her most challenging times.

“I don’t need to get validation from the world or from other people. I don’t need to feel like I’m friends with the whole entire world or the whole entire world is on my side. My family is more than enough to me. As long as I have them, I’ll be fine for the rest of my life,” Julia added.

The actress the said that she could relate to her character ‘Hazel’ in the movie ‘Between Maybes’ with Gerald Anderson.

“You’re like public property. They forget that you’re human with real feelings and real emotions and real problems and real issues,” she said.

Julia added that ‘Between Maybes’ was memorable because that helped her find her true self.

“I think that’s the Julia now. Just finding contentment and happiness in the most simple things, and then accepting what’s coming and whatever is leaving my life.”

She said that the movie was unforgettable because she was able to relate with her character Hazel and everything that she’s been through.
