Actor and P2lt. Matteo Guidicelli met with President Rodrigo Duterte for the second time in Jolo, Sulu on July 3.
An Army reservist, Guidicelli went to Sulu to visit the wounded soldiers where President Duterte also made a visit.
On his Facebook post, the actor shared how he witnessed the Commander-in-Chief’s love for soldiers.
“Yesterday July 3, 2019 – I had the honor and privilege of accompanying The Commanding General of the Philippine Army LT Gen Alberto to visit our troops in Jolo, Sulu,” he said.
The actor said he had goosebumps upon watching the President saying “I salute you” to wounded soldiers.
“I personally witnessed President Duterte award medals to our wounded soldiers that were victims of the bombing incident,” he said.
Guidicelli’s first encounter with the President was after he got enlisted in the Philippine Army’s Reserve Command.
The actor finished his 30-day Scout Ranger training last June 27.
