Alden back in PH after shooting OFW film with Kathryn Bernardo

Kapuso actor Alden Richards is back in the country after shooting his latest movie with Kapamilya actress Kathryn Bernardo in Hong Kong.

The film titled “Hello, Love and Goodbye” is helmed by blockbuster director Cathy Garcia Molina.

The story highlights the Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) in Hong Kong but the details of the movie remain unclear.

“Nagtrabaho kami ni Kath sa isang bar sa Hong Kong ng isang gabi para maiintidihan ang mga karakter namin” Richards revealed.

Richards said his character works as a bartender while Bernardo takes on the role of a restaurant waitress.

The Kapuso actor also said that he has a better understanding now of the plight of OFWs after doing the film.

“Every Sunday nasa Central kami yung Central yung Hong Kong government talagang pinapasara nila yun para sa mga kababayan natin” Richards added.

Richards and Bernardo will be playing the role of Joy and Ethan. Star Cinema has yet to announce the playdate for the film.

The film is a major cross over between the two rival networks, Bernardo is the other half of the KathNiel love team together with Daniel Padilla. Kathniel was behind the record-breaking and highest grossing Filipino film of all time “The Hows Of Us” also directed by Molina.

Richards is paired with Maine Mendoza making the phenomenal “AlDub” loveteam in the noontime variety show ‘Eat Bulaga ‘.
