Veteran singer and former Apo Hiking Society member Jim Paredes found himself in hot water after several netizens claimed that a private video of him leaked online.

The 67-year-old singer also directly addressed some netizens who asked him about the video saying that it is “fake”.

Aside from saying that the allegations are “fake”, Paredes has not formally made any statements about the video.

Paredes became a trending topic on social media after rumor spread online that there is a 5-minute explicit video of a man who looks like him circulating online.

Many netizens noted that the man in the video has the same right shoulder tattoo and chest mole as Paredes, leading to speculations that it was him.

However, there were also some who said that someone might be playing tricks on Paredes since the video circulated on April 1, which also happens to be April Fools’ Day.
