Actress Ara Mina might have just revealed the true state of Cristine Reyes and Ali Khatibi’s marriage.
It can be recalled that, last year, several entertainment websites speculated that Reyes and Khatibi might be going through marital problems as the latter was rarely seen on the actress’ social media posts.
Before that, Reyes also shared a cryptic post on Instagram. In the now-deleted post, the actress prayed for her marriage with Khatibi.
The actress remains mum whenever she would get asked about the status of their marriage.
However, fans are wondering if they are really no longer together after Reyes’ sister, Ara Mina, had a slip of the tongue during an interview with PEP.ph on February 8.
Reporters asked Ara Mina about Reyes’ 30th birthday celebration in Thailand. The former sexy actress said that they had a great time abroad as it allowed them to reconnect and spend time together as sisters.
“Hindi ako nakikialam sa kanyang love life. Parang what you see is what you get na lang,” she said. “Happy siya in a way, kasi, nakaka-bonding niya kaming family. Kasi to be honest… kasi nung married siya, parang medyo bihira yung bonding namin, e. Mas more on sa asawa niya, sa family niya, but we understand.”
Because of Ara Mina’s statement, many are confused if Reyes is now separated with Khatibi since she has time to spend with her family.
“Basta pray lang whatever it is,” Ara Mina added.
Reyes and Khatibi were last seen together during the Christmas party of their daughter Amarah last year.
The couple have not yet made any confirmations if the rumors are true. Nevertheless, netizens are still hoping that the couple would be able to rebuild their relationship.
