Actor Jay Manalo has appeared on many films and television shows which made him famous because of his acting chops, but not a lot of people know that he actually has a large family.
In an interview with PEP.ph, Manalo revealed that he has 12 children to six different women. He even added that he is now a “lolo” with two grandchildren from his eldest child.
Manalo, 45, confessed that he is over with his bad-boy-gone-wild days. He said is now happy with his wife, and that he remains in good terms with his ex-girlfriends with whom he has children.
He added that he no longer has any plans on having more children.
“Wala na, stop na tayo doon. Nag-stick na ako sa wife ko, he said. “Wala na, pina-ligate ko na si kumander. Kaya tama na. Pero sabi nung iba, huwag muna. Kasi, maganda naman yung lahi namin,” he said.
While the number of his children might raise some eyebrows, the actor said he is capable of supporting all of them.
“Actually, may tatlo ako na naka-graduate na,” he added.
In a previous interview with Inquirer.net, he said that he doesn’t want any of his children to enter show business while they are still studying.
“I refuse to allow any of my kids to join showbiz until I am done with my obligation of sending them to school,” he said.
