Filipina enters “Asia’s Next Top Model” top 3

Filipino fans of the Asian version of the well-known Top Model franchise “Asia’s Next Top Model” celebrated after the country’s representative made it to the top 3 of the show’s current season.

Filipina-British model Adela-Mae Marshall was among the top 3 finalists in “Asia’s Next Top Model Cycle 6”, together with Taiwan’s Mia Sabathy and Thailand’s Dana Slosar.

Through an Instagram post, Marshall expressed her happiness and gratitude for making it far in the competition.

“LABAN PILIPINAS!

She said that it was difficult for her to compete with the other models from different parts of Asia as they were all equally good, but she promised that she would do her best to win the Top Model title for the Philippines.

Marshall said.

LABAN PILIPINAS ?? ? I am so happy to finally be able to tell you all that I was able to bring my beautiful country into the Top 3 of #AsNTM6 I think you may be able to tell that I didn’t think I would make it in this episode because both of my competitors were really strong but I will try my best to secure a back-to-back win for the Philippines. I want to thank everyone who has supported me throughout the whole competition. I never thought I would receive this much support and I am so grateful for it all. #TeamAdela #PhilippinesOnTop #BeyondLimits

If Marshall wins, it will be a back-to-back victory for the Philippines after Filipino-German model Maureen Wroblewitz was hailed as the winner during the show’s fifth season.

Wroblewitz won a Subaru Impreza, a cover and fashion spread in Nylon Singapore, and a modeling contract with Storm Model Management in London.
