An overseas Filipina worker (OFW) in Canada shared her dismay after one of her brothers got mad at her for not sending money for a car he wishes to purchase.
The OFW, who works as a nurse in Canada, shared to Facebook page PESO SENSE the time when she received hurtful messages from her brother after she refused to send or loan money for his brother to be able to purchase a car.
According to the OFW, her family asked her to loan Php150,000 to help his brother purchase a car. This is on top of Php200,000 loan that her brother also plans to make.
Considering that she also has her own family to feed, finance, and sustain, she was not able to make the loan.
This was the time she received this message from her brother.
Makasarili ka,” her brother’s message read.
Aside from helping her brother in sending his child to school, she had previously sent Php200,000 for them to be able to start a small quail egg business in the Philippines.
When the business failed, she sent another Php30,000 for them to start a grocery store.
