Singer Marcelito Pomoy is set to appear in the famous US talk show “The Ellen DeGeneres Show”.
Pomoy first uploaded a photo on his Instagram account showing him standing in front of the artist entry of the said show.
He uploaded a video of a teaser of the episode where he will be guesting. Based on the video, his appearance will be on the same episode as Lisa Jarmon, an audience member who was given a car and a house by Ellen.
Pomoy will be singing the song “The Prayer” by Andrea Bocelli and Celine Dion in the said show, as seen in the video.
“Teaser from Ellen DeGeneres Show. Hoping you could watch it and share it to us!” Pomoy captioned the video.
He also posted a video on his YouTube account showing a slideshow of his experience in the US to film his episode on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show”.
According to the YouTube video, his episode will air on October 29 at 3:00 PM (California time).
Many Filipinos have already appeared on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” including Charice Pempengco, Arnel Pineda, Aldrich Talonding and James Bucong, AC Bonifacio and Lucky Ancheta, Rhap Salazar, and Zendee Tenerefe.
Pomoy gained his popularity after winning the second season of “Pilipinas Got Talent”. He is most known for his “doble kara” act which shows off his ability to sing in both tenor and soprano vocal ranges.
