The ex-girlfriend of former Philippine Basketball Association player Mark Reynan Cardona claimed that the former was high on drugs when he came to her house and stabbed her.
Bianca Nicole Jackes revealed in her Instagram Stories that the incident resulted to Cardona stabbing her left arm.
She also said on her Instagram Stories that she and Cardona have not been together for more than two years now.
“He showed up where I was staying with my two kids and attacked me with a knife and stabbed me. Stabbed [me] in the arm…,” Jackes said.
“Unlike what the news said, there was no argument that happened. Mark went there high on drugs and trying to get back with me and I refused. I didn’t even yell because I don’t want to wake up the kids. All I did was try to calm him down,” she added.
Jackes also revealed that she decided to end her relationship with the ex-PBA player due to the domestic violence she suffered from, which caused her “a lot of damage”.
Cardona was arrested in Brgy. San Antonio, Makati City for allegedly stabbing Jackes last Saturday.
The Makati police claimed that the incident happened after a heated argument between Jackes and Cardona in the former’s condominium unit.
Cardona is currently detained at the Makati police station and is now facing physical injury charges.
