Actress Bea Alonzo admitted having a small misunderstanding with actor Derek Ramsay when the latter decided to leave ABS-CBN unbeknownst to Alonzo.
According to Alonzo, she felt disappointed with Ramsay when he did not tell her he would be transferring networks, reported PUSH.
“Nagtampo ako sa kanya when he left. We were in the middle of a shoot sa isang pelikula when he left. So syempre nagtampo ako kasi hindi niya ko nasabihan. Nung time na yun iniisip ko ‘ay bakit ko [alam] na tapos na yung pelikula natin?,” the actress said.
Alonzo, however, clarified it was a small ‘smudge’ and they were able to rekindle their relationship easily.
“But of course kahit na before pa siya bumalik, napag-usapan na namin yung dati.”
The two are back to star in Star Cinema’s ‘Kasal’ with actor Paolo Avelino.
Alonzo admitted she missed filming with Ramsay.
“Ngayon, parang kapag nakaka-eksena ko siya sinasabi ko sa kanya ‘grabe no parang di ka nawala?’ pero parang na-miss kong makipag-eksena sa kanya. Tapos nung napanuod ko yung teaser nung Kasal, nakakamiss pala makita si Derek.”
The actress also praised Ramsay for his performance while filming saying he was able to bring something new to the table since the last time the two worked together.
“Habang nakaka-eksena ko siya, ang dami niyang bagong binigay and I’m very proud of him for that.”
The two worked together once again with Kasal which tells the story of three adult characters in a strange dilemma.
“One who wants to stop it, one wants to proceed, and one woman who has to choose which wedding to go to and what decision to make,” film director Ruel S. Bayani said of the movie.
The two have previously worked together in the drama movie “And I Love You So” in 2009 and the iconic One More Chance in 2007.
