A chance meeting between singer Karylle Padilla Yuson and Marian Rivera Dantes was revealed by comedian Vice Ganda on the noontime program It’s Showtime.
The meeting of the two was brought up the by comedian after a contestant shared that he recently learned about the wedding of his ex-girlfriend.
“Tanungin natin si Karylle kasi nagkita sila ni Dingdong noong isang araw, eh!” Vice Ganda said, adding that, “Nakasalubong niya sa isang show. Sabi niya, nakasalubong niya si Marian.”
Vice shared that Karylle told him that she was sort of starstruck when she saw the Kapuso actress.
“Gandang-ganda daw siya kay Marian. Bineso niya raw. Pag-beso niya, ‘Uy, ang ganda naman’,” Vice shared.
“Tapos pag talikod niya, na-realize niya na ang payapa na pala talaga ng puso nila, kasi nag-beso sila, tapos gandang-ganda raw siya kay Marian,” the host added.
Karylle shared that she also said “hi” to Dingdong Dantes, Marian’s husband.
Karylle and Dantes broke up in 2008. This was the time when the actor he was paired with Marian.
Karylle is now happily married to rock star Yael Yuzon.
