Singer Anji Salvacion was named winner for Pinoy Big Brother Kumunity season 10.
During the “Big Night” on Sunday, May 29, the celebrity housemate garnered a total of 40.42% of the combined total votes and will be taking home a cash prize of P2 million after edging out the other Big 5 housemates.
“First of all, I want to really say thank you to God for giving me this opportunity and for giving me this biggest blessing in life. It’s not the title but it is how people trusted me. That’s my biggest, biggest blessing. How people look up to me…Tagumpay ang plano,” she said after the win.
In her gratitude to those who voted for Anji, her mother, Melisa Gorbulev, said, “Salamat sa sumusuporta sa anak ko. Thank you for believing in her.”
Isabel Laohoo from the adult edition was placed second after getting 18.20% of the total votes while beauty queen Samantha Bernardo received 16.28% of the total votes. Isabel will receive P500,000 and Samantha P300,000.
Anji’s road to the Big Night and the Big Winner title was not smooth as she was evicted many times while her family in Siargao was also affected by Super Typhoon Odette.
