The Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) in Lebanon on Friday said that it sees Turkey among the employment markets for Overseas Filipino workers (OFWs).
Labor Attache Alejandro Padaen said the other destinations are Georgia, Azerbaijan, and North Cyprus.
In Turkey the current number of Filipino workers stands at 4,000 and deployment is increasing as the demand for those especially household services workers (HSWs) goes up.

The minimum salary of HSWs is US$800 per month, which is nearly double the salary in other countries.
Georgia and Azerbaijan are potential markets due to the avenues in the oil and gas sector while in Northern Cyprus, HSWs, cleaners and hotel staff are already employed.
