Moira Dela Torre slams fake news for alleging she earned Php 5 million from political gig

Singer Moira Dela Torre did not mince words in calling out Manila Bulletin for its article accusing her of receiving some Php5 million from a recent singing gig.

Moira was among the artists who performed during the Leni-Kiko rally tandem in Zamboanga City.

“Talk has it that singer Moira Dela Torre was among celebrities who earned a huge sum recently… the source? an online marites,” the article said.

The Manila Bulletin article or the writer did not try to present facts to substantiate or prove its claims that Moira was paid.

The online newspaper was also responsible for saying that the Marcos-Duterte rally in Las Pinas was attended by 500,000 people when the Philippine National Police reported that it was only 18,000.

“Baka kayo po yung bayad para sa mga headline niyong nag clickbait po ng ganyan,” Moira commented.

“Hindi po iyan maganda Manila Bulletin. Kaya niyo naman po gamitin ang platform niyo sa mas magandang bagay na hindi base sa mga online marites,” she added.
