A recent social media post by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, took the Internet by storm.
The Dubai Crown Prince announced that he has been blessed to welcome twins.
He posted a simple photo of blue and pink feet indicating that he and his wife welcomed a baby boy and a baby girl.
The twins were named Sheikha bint Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum and Rashid bin Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, as confirmed by the Government of Dubai Media Office to Khaleej Times.
Sheikha means ‘princess’ in Arabic while Rashid means ‘rightly guided’.
Congratulatory messages are pouring in for the Dubai Crown Prince and his wife Sheikha Sheikha bint Saeed bin Thani Al Maktoum, who tied the knot in 2019.
