The UAE is currently experiencing cloudy skies with the ongoing formation of connective clouds throughout the country.
Reports and videos from the National Centre for Meteorology state that several areas at AbuDhabi’s Al Dhafra region are currently experiencing moderate to heavy rain.

Residents in the Al Dhafra area are advised to be alert and ready for possible hazardous weather, as the combination of rain fall and fresh winds with speeds reaching up to 50 km/hr will lead to poor horizontal visibility due to sandstorms.

The UAE weather bureau furthered that the lowest temperature reported was 15.7C at Ras Al Khaimah’s Jebel Jais mountain at 6:15 am, while the highest was at 38.8C at the Mezaira area as of yesterday, April 14.
