Jet Blue bans passenger who revealed he'd contracted COVID-19 after landing

JetStar has ordered a ban on a passenger who said that he tested positive for the coronavirus disease or COVID-19 after taking a flight from New York to Florida.
In a CNN report, the passenger did not disclose that he was being tested for COVID-19.
Upon his arrival in Florida, he told airline crew members that he was positive for the virus.
Disinfection was immediately done on the areas he came in contact with.
“Last night’s event put our crewmembers, customers, and federal and local officials in an unsettling situation that could have easily been avoided, and as such, this customer will not be permitted to fly on JetBlue in the future,” the airline said in a statement.
The public has been constantly reminded that they don’t need to travel if they are not feeling well.
“Passengers in the vicinity of the positive patient were advised of monitoring procedures. The rest of the passengers were released to go home and given directions … to call the health department with any medical concerns,” the airline said.
It’s unclear though on where the passenger was brought after the incident.
