Mayor Joy Belmonte said Tuesday 3 out of 24 confirmed cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) are from Quezon City.
In an interview with ABS-CBN Belmonte said the first patient, a 57-year-old man resides in Baler Street.
None of his family members are showing symptoms of the disease according to local health authorities.
The second patient is a man in his 30s who lives at a condominium in Tomas Morato. The patient is now admitted at a hospital outside the city while the condominium was disinfected already.
Meanwhile, the city’s third COVID-19 case is from the Project 6 area. Belmonte told ABS-CBN News that health officials will look for the patient’s home because the initial address they received was “not accurate.”
