The death toll from novel coronavirus has reached 811, state-run Xinhua News Agency reported.
The fatalities have surpassed the death toll from the SARS epidemic, which killed 774 in 2003.

China’s National Health Commission reported 89 deaths across 31 regional level provinces.
Another 3,916 new suspected cases were reported Saturday bringing the total number of infected cases to 37,198.

The commission said 371,905 close contacts had been traced, adding that among them, 31,124 were discharged from medical observation Saturday, while 188,183 others still under medical observation.
