The Chinese state television has announced the number of deaths in central Hubei province in China from the 2019 novel coronavirus (2019 nCoV) outbreak has reached 479 cases as of Tuesday, Reuters reported.
The provincial government reported 65 fatalities.
The provincial capital Wuhan, the epicenter of the outbreak, reported 1,967 new infections and 49 new deaths.
Meanwhile, there were 3,156 new cases detected in Hubei taking the total in the province to 16,678. Hubei province is considered the epicenter of the outbreak.
