China: Bodies of nCoV victims should be cremated immediately

Bodies of those who have died from novel coronavirus should be cremated immediately, Global Times reported Sunday.
 
China’s National Health Commission (NHC) issued new regulations stating that there should be no burials or transfer of bodies as a preventive measure to curb the outbreak of the deadly disease.
 
Funerals of patients who succumbed to the deadly disease are also prohibited as well, reported Business Insider.

The remains will be sealed and disinfected before it will be delivered to the family, NHC said in a statement.
 
As of February 2, 2020, the death toll has climbed to 305, 304 of which are in mainland China.
 
The Philippines reported the first death of the novel coronavirus outside China.
