DOH: Persons under investigation for suspected coronavirus now at 31

The Department of Health said Friday that there are now 31 persons under investigation for suspected 2019 novel coronavirus case in the Philippines.
The number includes the first confirmed case of the 2019-nCoV in the Philippines.
A 38-year-old Chinese woman from Wuhan who traveled to the Philippines via Hong Kong tested positive for the disease.
“The Chinese national traveled to the Philippines from Wuhan via Hong Kong on January 21. She and her boyfriend are isolated in a referral hospital for infectious diseases in Manila,” Health Undersecretary Eric Domingo said.
The DOH said that there were 29 persons being closely monitored for the new virus.
Five of them were discharged, but still being closely monitored.
One has died of pneumonia due to HIV-AIDS complications.
The 2019-nCoV has surpassed the number of people affected by the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome in 2002 and 2003.
SARS is caused by SARS coronavirus, which is the same family of viruses of the 2019-nCoV.
