Dubbed as ‘Jesus shoes’ in the sneakers community, a pair of shoes designed in the United States immediately went sold out after its release.
The shoes contain holy water straight from the Jordan river. Its insoles have frankincense and its shoelaces have a cross design on it, according to reports.
According to the shoe designer, it also has a blood like rendering to symbolize Christ’s blood and a bible verse on its side,
The Jesus Shoes uses all white Nike Air Max 97 but the company clarifies that they are not affiliated with the shoe company.
The limited edition ‘Jesus Shoes’ were being sold at Php155,000 per pair. Dozens of Jesus shoes have already been sold out. (TN)
