Diamond star Maricel Soriano has refuted claims that “The General’s Daughter” Angel Locsin is difficult to work with.
“Mami-miss ko sa set namin, walang pa-istaran dito. Dito sa set, si Angel wala kang makikitang bahid na ‘nyora-‘nyora na gumaganun. Wala, hindi ganun si Angel. Nakatapak sa lupa si Angel,” Maricel said during the teleserye’s grand press conference held days before the show’s finale.
Maricel recalled that before she started taping for the teleserye, she has heard rumors about Angel’s so-called “topak.”
“Si Angel, may nagsabi sa akin, ‘Ay, si Angel, ganito, ganyan. May topak iyan.’ sino bang tao ang walang topak?,”she said.
Maricel also commended Angel’s passion for what she does and her dedication while doing the teleserye.
“Itong babaeng ‘to, good na sa director. Mas marunong pa sa director, gusto pa niya magdirek. Gusto mo ba magdirek, ‘Ne? Nagdidirek na rin. Meron siyang mga inputs, marami siyang questions. She collaborates with them,” Maricel added.
Maricel also said Angel was a sweet co-actor. “Ako, nakita ko, yung positive side talaga. “Tsaka malambing. Ang sarap din niyang lambingin. She has a very big heart,” Maricel said. (Trish Tan)
