Liza Soberano was quick to deny any rumors that she and longtime onscreen partner and offscreen boyfriend Enrique Gil have gone separate ways.
“Oo naman,” responded Liza in a message shared to her manager, Ogie Diaz, when asked if she’s still together with Enrique.
Liza’s currently overseas in the US as she’s currently recovering from a bone infection.
The rumors floated on social media that the two were apparently having relationship problems because they haven’t been seen together recently.
In an interview video posted by Ogie Diaz on his official Facebook page, he mentioned in the captions that Enrique visited Liza two days after the interview.
Health updates
Diaz also took the chance to ask Liza about her health recovery. She shared that she had a bone infection that forced her to take some time out of the limelight to help speed up her recovery.
“Well, basically. Ang nangyari po, nagkaroon ako ng bone infection.
“‘Tapos, the doctor had to take out the titanium na nilagay nung nasa Philippines pa lang ako.
“Tapos, after tanggalin, they had to put a stabilizer kasi hindi kaya ng bone na siya lang.
“So they had to hold the bone together.”
Liza’s next operation will resume after six weeks to make sure she doesn’t have any more infections.
