UAE Churches begin registration process for Papal Mass attendance

Filipinos around the UAE are heavily anticipating the arrival of the Pope for the upcoming Papal Visit happening for the first time in the UAE this coming February 3-5. The visit brings the beginning of the UAE’s Year of Tolerance in a high note as the country will witness a mass celebrated by Pope Francis himself to be held at the Zayed Sports City on February 5.

Parishoners comprised of Filipinos and other expats have begun registering at their respective parishes for a chance to get a ticket for the Papal Mass.

Each parish advises the public that the registration will not automatically guarantee a ticket as all churches in the UAE have limited numbers of tickets available. Those who have successfully registered should wait for further announcements to see if they were provided with a ticket to attend the mass.
