How to register in ‘E-channels’ for UAE visa, residency permit

Within just 10 minutes, UAE residents and expats, including Filipinos, can now apply for their visa and residency permits through an online smart system called E-channels.

The UAE’s Ministry of the Interior (MoI) launched “E-channels” on Tuesday, August 1. It aims to speed up the visa and residency applications in the country.

Here’s how you can register and apply for the document/s that you need:

1.  Simply click the link below:

https://echannels.moi.gov.ae/echannels/web/client/default.html#/login

2.  To register, scroll down and click on “Individual Registration” icon.

3. Input your email address and click continue.

4.  You will see a message, saying, “Thank you! A confirmation email has been sent. Please click on the Activation Link to complete the registration process.”

5. Check out the confirmation message sent by the MoI on the e-mail address that you provided. Click on the hyperlink “Complete Registration”.

6.  Simply follow the next instructions to complete the registration. Remember your email address and the password that you provided for your next log in.

7. Individual services offered by the new system are the following:

  • UAE nationals: allows to apply for their sponsored individuals services
  • Residents in UAE: allows residents to apply for new services or renew or cancel
  • GCC nationals: allows to apply for their sponsored individuals services
  • GCC residents: allows GCC residents to apply for new visa permit
  • Visitors: allows visitors to apply for new visa permit

    8.  Application registration is available for the following categories:

  • Establishments
  • Typing Centers
  • Citizens of the United Arab Emirates and the GCC countries who are over the age of 18 years
  • Residents of the United Arab Emirates and the GCC who are over the age of 18 years and corporate sponsorship or VIP
