Osama Bin Laden son

Osama bin Laden’s son believes that his father’s fight is not over.

Ali Soufan, a former Federal Bureau of Investigation agent, warned against bin Laden’s son, Hamza, who appears to have the motive to follow his father’s footstep.

In an episode of American news show 60 minutes, Soufan said the FBI retrieved a letter of then 22-year-old Hamza’s letter to his father that hinted the younger bin Laden’s plan to avenge his dad.

“[The letter says]: ‘American people, we’re coming and you’re going to feel it. And we’re going to take revenge for what you did to my father … Iraq … Afghanistan.’ The whole thing was about vengeance,” News.com.au quoted Soufan as saying.

“I consider myself to be forged in steel. The path of jihad for the sake of God is what we live,” the letter reads.

Earlier this year, the U.S. State Department tagged the 28-year-old Hamza as a “specially designated global terrorist”.

In 2015, al-Qaeda released an audio message that called for terrorist attacks in London, Washington, and Paris.

Osama bin Laden spearheaded the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center on September 11, 2011, which killed almost 3,000 people, injured over 6,000 individuals, and damaged over $10 billion worth of properties.

Osama bin Laden was killed in an operation carried out by the U.S. Navy’s Seal Team Six on May 2, 2011.
