Dubai Police arrest three Asian men selling fake medical products

Dubai Police on Monday arrested three Asian men for selling fake medical products and supplies.
The group tried to sell counterfeit products through social media app WhatsApp.
Brigadier Jamal Salem Al Jalaf, director of Criminal Investigation Department (CID) in Dubai Police said the gang hid fake medical products on three villas across the emirate.
Among the seized products from the culprits are 400,000 face masks 1,000 protective glasses, 25,000 gloves, 270 overall protective gears and 3,900 bottles.
The seized products have no labels and indicators where it was manufactured.
Al Jalaf said the CID received a tip informing them about the illegal activities.
The team immediately collected evidence and followed the gang to verify their involvement in the sale of medical products.
The police raided the villas upon securing approval and seized medical products and machines.
