Over 100,000 recoveries of COVID-19 recorded globally

More than 100,000 people have reportedly recovered from the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), according to the latest figure by the Johns Hopkins University Coronavirus Resource Center.
As of today, their records show that there are now 108,349 recoveries.
Most of the recoveries were recorded in China with 60,324. They were followed by Iran with 8,913 recoveries and Italy with 8,326.

The other countries that recorded the highest numbers of recoveries include Spain (3,794), South Korea (3,507), Germany (3,290), and France (3,281).
According to statistics provided by Statista and published on Newsweek, the graph, as of March 19, 2020, shows the number of recoveries also continues to rise.

Meanwhile, cases of the new coronavirus worldwide are also now beyond the 400,000 mark.
According to the situation report by the World Health Organization (WHO), total global cases are now at 375,498 with 16,362 deaths.

It has already affected 195 countries so far.
However, Johns Hopkins University Coronavirus Resource Center says global cases are now at 422,652.
