Two housewives landed in jail after spreading false news about their neighbor in Cagayan, reported The Philippine Star.
Police on Monday arrested the unidentified women, both residents of Barangay Maura, Aparri in Cagayan, after they were accused by their neighbor of gossiping.

They will face slander charges for spreading false news that their neighbor is a womanizer.
The two vehemently denied the accusation.

They are currently under the custody of Aparri police as the court continues to investigate their case.
