“Kobe is going to end up dying in a helicopter crash,” a Twitter user under the handle @dotNoso posted on November 14, 2012.
Bryant’s fans expressed outrage when the tweet was posted, but another netizen defended the Twitter user saying that the comment was made because of the news that Bryant was a fan of helicopter rides to avoid traffic.
Some netizens also debunked the tweet by showing that some posts can be edited.
Also, another viral post making rounds online was one of the episodes of the cartoon series ‘Legends of the Chamberlain Heights’ in 2016 showing Bryant in a helicopter crash.
NBA star Dwight Howard also made a sort of “premonition” when he was asked on his thoughts about Lebron James surpassing the record of Bryant.
“We don’t appreciate each other as much as we should as a humanity. Something like that should be appreciated. We should appreciate people while they’re alive,” he said.
