A group of Arab men made the mistake of their life when they went online to boast about taking drugs in Dubai, triggering a massive police hunt that resulted in their arrest.

Police deployed a large number of cops to track down the addicts after they published a video on social media networks showing them taking drugs.

Colonel Khalid bin Muaiza, Acting Director of the General Directorate for Combating Drugs in Dubai

“We arrested all of them within hours after they published that video… we have referred them to the concerned authorities so they will take the necessary measures against them,” said Colonel Khalid bin Muaiza, acting director of the general directorate for combating drugs in Dubai.

“We will not tolerate these actions which harm the country’s image and help spread drugs through social networks… We will take the maximum measures against any persons who try to break the law in such bad ways.”
