A 72-year-old woman had her arms and legs amputated after she was hit by a train in Vito Cruz, Manila today.
Joseline Geronimo, spokesperson of the Philippine National Railways (PNR) said Delia Cercado did not hear that the train was approaching when she was hit as she was reportedly crossing the tracks.
Cercado suffered severe injuries including to her arms and legs which was why doctors decided to cut them off.
