An Abu Dhabi-based company is facing charges of selling fake mobile phones under famous brands in the local market.
The company’s manager, who is from another Gulf country, and his employees denied the charges, saying they did not know the phones were fake.
A court of first instance acquitted the manager and the other company employees, but the prosecutor rejected the verdict and decided to appeal.
After hearings on Thursday, the judge in the court of appeals adjourned session to Oct 9.
