Remember Baby Aki? The child of a father whose story went viral after he was seen selling banana cake for his baby’s liver operation, has already passed away.
The one-year-old boy from Laguna was brought to India after raising enough funds for his operation. Aki has been suffering from Bilary Artresia, a rare liver disease.
Aki was in India since June 27. The kid died on July 22 as confirmed by his mother.
Aki’s father Antonio went viral last March after netizens saw a photo of him selling banana cakes on the side of a street in Calamba, Laguna. Antonio was trying to raise Php1.6 million.
Aki’s wake will be start once the family returns home from India.
