Another Filipina takes a closer step to Sainthood.
The Catholics Bishop Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) has announced that Vatican declared Mother Francisca Del Espiritu Santo De Fuentes as ‘venerable’.
Mother Francisca will now be up for beatification and needs to conduct two miracles before being declared as Saint.
She was the founder of the Dominican Sisters of St. Catherine of Siena, died in Manila in 1711.
Last month, Pope Francis also declared nun Maria Beatrice Rosario Arroyo as ‘venerable’.
Pinoy teen Darwin Ramos was also called ‘Servant of God’, another step closer to Sainthood.
