Ben Tulfo calls Anthony Taberna ‘sipuning bata’, asks ABS-CBN to look into Taberna’s wealth

Manila, Philippines- A six-minute video of Bitag Anchor Ben Tulfo was posted on his show’s official Facebook page throwing a number of accusations to Dos Por Dos and ABS-CBN anchor Anthony Taberna.

Tulfo began by recalling how he adores the media profession but is always reminded that it is not perfect.

“Mahal ko ho talaga ang industriya ng media. Malaki ho ang aking respeto sa industiyang kinabibilangan ko. Marami hong magagaling na media personalities,” Tulfo said in his opening video.

The Bitag anchor then went on to say that while there are some people whom he greatly respects like his mentors in the industry, there are also those who are sell-outs.

“Wala ho akong mutual respect sa mga taong attack and collect defend and collect wala ho akong respeto. At kung ganon ka corrupt ang isang indibidwal sa mundo ng media hindi pwede yan,” he said.

Tulfo could no longer hide his frustrations and started calling out Taberna. He claimed that Taberna is like a child and that he needs to grow up before issuing accusations to him an his family.

“May mga iba we know mga supot pa uhuging sipunin tulad ni Tony Anthony makinig ka, grow up kid” he said.

Tulfo said that Taberna’s home network should start looking into Taberna’s activities and source of wealth.

“I think your network will start looking at your activities. Where do you get your millions? ” Tulfo added.

Before the end of his video, he challenged Taberna and reminded him of the Maguindanao Massacre involving the Ampatuan family.

“Meron ho isang batang reporter na anchor diyan bakit ikaw ang pumapel para tumigil ang ibang mga media na bumanat kay Ampatuan isa ka ba don Anthony? sagutin mo yan,” Tulfo said.

Tulfo accused Taberna of trying to destroy the reputation of ACT-CIS party-list, a group supported by the Tulfo brothers during the midterm elections. ACT-CIS received the highest number of votes in the party-list race managing to get three seats at the House of Representatives.
