75% Filipinos say PH in right direction – SWS

Majority of the Filipinos believe that the country is in the right direction, according to the latest Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey.

In SWS’ survey for the third quarter held from September 15 to 23, three out of four adults or 75% of the Filipinos say the country is going in the right direction, 5 percent compared to June’s 70%.

The 22% surveyed say it is in the wrong direction, while the remaining 3% did not give an answer.

The nationwide SWS survey was based on face-to-face interviews with 1,500 adults, 18 years old and above.

Remained highest in their belief that the country is in the right track is the Mindanao region, President Duterte’s turf, according to the SWS.

Malacañang was pleased with the results of the latest SWS survey.

“We view this as a reflection of our people’s continued trust and confidence in the President and an affirmation that the policies and programs of the current administration are on the right track,” presidential spokesman Salvador Panelo said.

Panelo then encouraged the public to continue laying their trust in the administration as the government’s efforts to provide better lives for the Filipinos are underway.
