Residents in some areas in the UAE experienced heavy rains and flooding.
Several videos uploaded by the National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) on Saturday, October 20, show flooded areas in the country.
In some areas, strong currents came with the flood.

Residents are reminded to take caution and to keep updated on news regarding the weather conditions in their respective areas.
According to NCMS, weather for Sunday, October 21, is fair to partly cloudy with a chance of convective clouds over the eastern areas. Light to moderate winds will also be experienced across the country.

Meanwhile, the body of 53-year old Sudanese national who was swept away by the flooding in Ras Al Khaimah had been recovered.
According to Ras Al Khaimah Police, the man’s truck was stranded after flood came rushing down from a nearby mountain. The man was swept away by the flood and his body was recovered in a river five days after.
