The Buckingham Palace is currently looking for a sous chef who will be working in the Royal Household’s catering department, reported Delish.
The Royal Family wants to hire an experienced chef who will be working five days a week to “plan and develop menu items for a wide range of events, as well as helping to manage stock levels”, as per the job description.
The new sous chef that they will be hiring would also need to work every day with the head chef to discuss kitchen operations and must be willing to travel outside of London.
However, it won’t be a walk in the park to attain the job as the qualifications are pretty specific.
They are looking for someone who has “thorough knowledge of the food industry, who is trained in classical French cuisine, and is confident planning and developing menus for a wide range of occasions, including volume catering”.
The salary of the said job was not disclosed but the same source noted that another job in Buckingham Palace which is about the same experience level offers a salary around $28,700 or P1.6 million.
The hired sous chef will also live inside the Royal Palace.
