Actress brought to court for invading man’s privacy on Snapchat

The Cassation Court is hearing a famous actress in Abu Dhabi for allegedly invading a man’s privacy when she took pictures of him and posted them on her Snapchat.

However, the actress’ lawyer, Ali Al-Mansouri, said that the plaintiff was aware that he was being photographed and so the defendant had no motive.

He added that the actress only posted the video on Snapchat and not on YouTube where it went viral with over a million views.

Al-Mansouri also implied that the man is only trying to get money from her by taking her to court.

The public prosecution has confiscated the defendant’s phone and issued her with a fine. The hearing will resume on Wednesday, September 26 for the final verdict, reported Al Bayan.
