A day after her burial, the body of a 17-year-old girl in Mexico, Pampanga was found outside of her tomb on September 4 and was suspected that she was raped.
The girl’s body was found lying 20 meters away from her tomb and her clothes were torn apart. She died on September 2 after she accidentally hit her head.
The girl’s father said he was hurt to found out what happened to the remains of her daughter.
Police authorities said they already have a “person of interest” on the incident.
“Nagkaroon kami ng suspicion na baka ito ay ni-rape. Mayroon na tayong person of interest [na] nung araw na inilibing nandun po siya at tinitingnan daw po yung body,” P/Supt. Wilfredo Paulo, Chief Police of Mexico Police District, said.

Abu Dhabi Police arrests suspect in rape-slay of boy
Abu Dhabi Police has arrested the suspect in the killing of an 11-year-old boy, whose half-naked body was found on a rooftop last May 31.
Police said the suspect is a man who disguised himself as a woman to lure the boy into going with him to the rooftop of a flat, where he allegedly raped the boy before strangling him to death with a rope.
Major General Maktoum Al Sharifi, director-general of Abu Dhabi Police, said the Pakistani disguised as a woman because he knew the boy’s parents advised him not to go with male strangers.
Police added the suspect was known to the boy’s family.
The Filipino Times previously reported the boy was reported missing when he failed to return home after going to a masjid.
An AC technician discovered the half-naked body of the boy around 10 a.m. when he went to the rooftop to repair a chiller.

10-year old rape victim gives birth
A ten year old girl in the northern city of Chandigarh, India complained of a stomach ache and her parents rushed her to the hospital in mid-July.
The parents discovered that instead of just a simple stomach ache, their daughter is 30 weeks or seven and half months pregnant.
The girl was allegedly raped several times in the last seven months by a relative, her mother’s cousin, BBC reported.
“I want him to be severely punished. He should get the death penalty or be locked away for the rest of his life in prison. He has admitted to the crime. But he has never said sorry to us,” the father, who is a government employee, told BBC reporters.
The family’s plea for their daughter to get an abortion was denied by the India Supreme Court on the grounds that the rape victim was too far along in her pregnancy and deemed an abortion will be unsafe for her and the unborn child.
India’s Medical Termination of Pregnancy Act prohibits termination of pregnancies after 20 weeks.
On Thursday, August 17, the ten year old gave birth to a 5.5lb baby girl via c-section at the Government Medical College and Hospital in Chandigarh.
Her parents decided not to tell the girl that she delivered a baby and put the baby up for adoption, the Press Trust of India news agency reported.
The relative has been arrested and is now behind bars, pending trial.
In the UAE, abortion is illegal except if the pregnancy poses danger to the life of the mother. In this case, abortion must be done before 120 days of conception, but it is treated on a case-by-case basis.
