After facing court troubles for alleged sexual assault allegations, “Tawag ng Tanghalan” Season 1 champion Noven Belleza was seen performing in public again.
In his interview with the press after performing at the 80th anniversary of AFP Medical Center in Quezon City, the 21-year-old singer said that he can’t speak so much about the charges he’s facing as advised by his lawyer.
However, he admitted that he learned a lot in life after he skyrocketed to fame.
“Ang natutunan ko po, huwag basta-basta magtiwala,” ABS-CBN News quoted Belleza.
He added that he learned that the nothing is left unseen by the watchful eyes of the public, especially the celebrities.
“Hindi na pala ako ang dating Noven na normal… hindi ko namalayan sa sarili ko na sikat na pala ako…Yung dating ginagawa ko nung normal na tao ay hindi ko na pala puwedeng gawin ngayon,” he said.
Belleza thanked his family and fans for always supporting him at all times.
“Nandiyan lang po sila sa likod ko nakasuporta. Kahit anong mangyari pala, nandiyan sila palagi sa akin,” he said.
Belezza faced a sexual assault charge against him in Cebu City in July after a 19-year-old woman accused her of rape. He was jailed for three days before he was allowed to bail for P120,000.
Eventually, the woman withdrawn her decision. Her affidavit states that she wants to have a peace of mind instead of going to the court.
